Orange Muscat is an incredibly rare variety, grown in a very limited number of sites in Washington State. The “Muscat family” is numerous, with more than 200 distinct members. However, among these many different grapes only a couple of Muscat varieties are widely used in wine production.
This dry white table wine is produced from grapes harvested at the Lonesome Spring Vineyard near Benton City, WA. Only 73 cases in total were produced and they are only sold online or through the tasting room.
Muscat exhibits characteristics with a strong aroma of oranges and a taste of orange blossoms and apricots. Coupled with a lower acidity and low residual sugar, this wine is perfect for the hot summer days.
