2005 Reserve JTW Port: Silver Medal
The 2005 Reserve just won a Silver at the Tri-Cities Wine Festival. Selected from our best lots of the 2005 vintage, it was aged three years in barrel and one year in bottle before release in November 2009. Dark garnet with chocolate, spice and blackberry aromas and rich finish.
2007 Petite Sirah: Gold Medal
The 2007 Petite Sirah just won a Gold Medal at the Tri-Cities Wine Festival, the first competition entered for this new release. This wine is a great successor to the award winning 2006 vintage, showing the same dense color, cherry and spice aromas, and smooth finish.
2007 Tempranillo: Gold Medal
Our second vintage of Tempranillo, a variety best known from the Roja region of northern Spain, earned a Gold at the 2009 Northwest Wine Summit. Smooth and spicy with a hint of earth, this wine complements a wide range of foods, including duck and seafood. Only 97 cases produced.
2006 Cabernet Sauvignon 'The Teacher': Gold and Silver Medals
The 2006 vintage of this three vineyard blend received a Gold from the Central Washington Wine Competition and Silver from the Northwest Wine Summit. Bright cherry and spice aromas and full body make this wine perfect for current consumption or extended aging.
2007 PGV: Silver & Top NW Blend
This unique blend of Pinot Gris and Viognier was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2008 Central Washington Wine Competition and was rated Top Northwest Blend at the 2008 Ray's Boathouse Retrospective Tasting.
2007 Primitivo: Silver Medal
Our second bottling of 100% Primitivo received a Silver at the 2009 Northwest Wine Summit. Aged 14 months in 100% new American oak, this vintage is even richer and spicier than the award winning 2006 vintage. Only 100 cases produced.
2007 Howling Wolfe Zinfandel: Double Gold
Our biggest and jammiest Zinfandel yet, the 2007 won a Double Gold (unanimously awarded gold by all judges)at the Central Washington Wine Competition. Aromas of raspberry and strawberry jam are followed by rich, dense flavors of berries and cherries.
2007 Burgess Vineyard Syrah: Gold and Best of Show
Our third bottling of 100% Burgess Vineyard Syrah, it won Gold and Best Syrah (out of 53 entered) at the Central Washington Wine Competition. Aged in 75% new Hungarian and American oak, it has aromas of fruit, spice and toast and a rich but smooth finish. Only 140 cases produced.
